Acoustic Polymeric Barrier

Mineral Loaded Polymeric Sound Barrier Mat designed to be used as a mass layer within composite acoustic materials and to improve the sound insulation of existing panels of wood, metal, plastics etc, at all frequencies.

The productis normally fixed in intimate contact with the original panel and is particularly effective in overcoming coincidence dip resonance found in stiff lightweight composites, such as plywood sheets and hollow core panels. Barrier mat is also effective as an acoustic barrier for use in partitions and for improving the sound reduction of walls and ceilings in conjunction with mineral fibres.
